Edward Ewbank

Edward was born and raised in New Zealand where he competed up to the FEI CCI 4* level and Show Jumped to the Grand Prix Level. After retiring from eventing in 2018 Edward put his time into reaching his Dressage goals. Earning his USDF Bronze medal in 2019, USDF Silver medal in 2020 and earned his USDF Gold medal in 2023. Edward has gone on to produce and train numerous FEI dressage horses. Edward is based in Bluemont, Virginia where he lives his dream of competing, training and coaching. Edward has been working towards competing at the 2026 World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany for New Zealand and if all goes to plan the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, USA.


Adam Campbell

Stable Manager - Adam came on full time with Ewbank Equestrian in 2023 bringing his years of retail management to the team. Adam helps to keep the stables flowing and functioning the way it needs to along with helping to warm up the horses for the trainers to school them.


Abby Hacecky

Assistant Trainer - Abby joined the Ewbank Equestrian team in the spring of 2023. She came with a background primarily focused on the development of young horses in hunter and equitation disciplines. She also spent several years under Lauren Lee Dearlove developing her own OTTB and young warmblood. In this experience she gained a foundation in dressage and a passion for young horses. Her competition experience includes eventing through Pony Club, Hunter/Jumpers and dressage. Abby went on to finish 3rd with her own gelding Da Vinci Z at the USDF Great American Regional Championships in 2024. Abby has set her sight on finishing her USDF Bonze medal in 2025.

Lauren Lee Dearlove

Dressage Trainer & Breeder - Lauren owns and runs Parade Field Farm in VA where she breeds phenomenal sport horses and trains her young stock, students and top horses. Lauren is a USDF Silver medalist in Dressage and when time allows Lauren will be aiming for her gold medal. Lauren along with Denise Williams bred Edward’s USDF Gold Medal mare Sushi, and Edward’s USDF Silver Medal mare Damsel. Lauren and Amanda Brady breed Edward’s young mare Serenity and so many more top performance horses of all disciplines.


Samantha Stilley

Equissage Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist - She studied Animal Science and Psychology at West Virginia University and spent many years interning with Equine and large animal Veterinarians, giving her an in-depth understanding of anatomy, structures, and functions in our equine athletes. When not working on horses, she spends her time assisting in the instruction of the internationally acclaimed massage therapy training program "Equissage," and training and competing her young horses in the sport of Eventing."


Gwen Nardi - CJF, TE

Farrier - Gwen is a vital member of Ewbank Equestrian. She always puts my horses feet first and does a beautiful job in carefully developing their confidence in being shod and takes her time to ensure that perfect fit. Thank you Gwen.
